Blanding's Turtle
A successful crossing of a drainage culvert by an Endangered freshwater turtle in Ontario, Canada. Body temperature affects nearly all activity of reptiles. We are still learning when and what types of culverts, that remain cooler than ambient temperatures, these animals will use to cross roads.
